10 things I loved about Japan :)

(In no particular order) 1) the metro system! - so easy to understand it basically one big loop around Tokyo. My main line: Yamanote line! ;) 2) the noodles - although raw fish is Tokyo's specialty it is not my favorite, however the ramen was excellent and not to mention a little bit cheaper than sushi. 3) the people :) - whether I was trying to find my way to a hostel or the statue of Hachiko(which I wLked by without noticing)in both occasions compete strangers personally escorted me and made sure I was in the right place. 4) free clear to understand city maps everywhere! -enough said :) 5) the vending machines - from whole course meals to delicious desserts the vending machines were like mini grocery stores ready to serve you whatever your little heart desired in seconds! 6)the packaging that everything came in - especially the fruit, it all either had a smiley face on it or cute animate instructions on what to do wig the product :) it was as if the stuff you bought was happy to be bought by YOU! 7) everything and I mean everything is smaller - being 5 feet tall can be a little tough in America, there are cabinets that can't be reached and buildings that are too tall, but the wonderful thing about Japan is that everything is shorter, smaller, and more compact! it's as if the town had been customized to my size :) what more could a girl want?! 8) Tokyo's city infrastructure - you can basically be walking next to a modern skyscraper and turn the corner and see a lovely shrine complete with moss and incense sticks :) 9) the parks speaking of the city's unique infrastructure it is insane how you can find peace among the chaos of the city in on of Tokyo's many parks :) so peaceful and calm you wouldn't even know you were surrounded by skyscrapers :) 10) the fashion!!!! :) there is only one rile in Tokyo fashion: fashion has no rules!!

you see I go trough these phases.../Puerto Rico :)

Well theres times when i love my blog and im excited to updated it, and to let it become my main source of communication between those who wish to know how im doing and whats been of me lately. Then theres times when ill just neglect it for weeks and weeks (okay months), so today ive thought about what the point of having a blog is, and well ive come to the conclusion that it doesn't necessarily have to be for other as much as it is for yourself, most of the time through online social networks we are so caught up in making our lives look as perfect as possible, making ourselves look as strong as possible, that it almost becomes a contest to see who can win the most approvals. Which brings me to my decision to make an effort to make my social networking sites more about me, and what matters to me, the thoughts i have and the emotions im feeling, heck if im feeling mad well hell! ill be okay saying im damn pissed off! not what quote will get me the most likes or the best picture of myself....so with that said i have here the very late but very special nonetheless "PUERTO RICO" video. Quite contrary to what i thought Puerto Rico turned out to be a beautiful place with beautiful people, inside and out ;) Unfortunately i didn't film as much as i would have liked to during my trip, but that okay because most of the memories are stored safely in my mind :)

what a feeling!

This week although a little hectic with finals, has been an awakening. I am so excited about life, and i feel this thirst and hunger to go do everything, and although i don't know the exact direction of my life, i am so excited to just live everyday to its absolute fullest!! God is good :) I've missed talking to the big man upstairs. Thank you God for helping me find the "good" in goodbye.
